WinMag CD Install has determined that you are running Windows NT. Our current setup program does not support NT--so you will have to carry out the following steps manually.
You will need to be logged in on a user account with administrative privileges to carry out the following steps.
1. If you are running NT 4.0, skip to step 26
===================== NT 3.51 Manual Install =======================
NOTE: THE FOLLOWING STEPS ARE SUFFICIENT TO INSTALL A WEB BROWSER (WE HAVE INCLUDED MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER 1.5 FOR NT ON THE CD), AND WILL PERMIT YOU TO VIEW THE MAIN CD FILES. HOWEVER, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VIEW MULTIMEDIA CONTENT INCLUDING SCREENCAM MOVIES OR HEAR WAVE AUDIO. IF YOU WANT TO VIEW MULTIMEDIA CONTENT, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU UPGRADE TO NT 4.0, AND THEN PROCEED WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS ON STEP 26. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE.
(The following steps assume you are running NT 3.51. We have not tested this procedure on earlier versions of NT, and we do not support using the CD on any version prior to 3.51)
2. If you already have a supported web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Netscape Navigator) installed, skip to step 8.
3. Start a Command prompt from the NT Program Manager's Main group.
